  • Mediation can be used to resolve a wide range of conflicts, including family disputes, workplace disagreements, landlord-tenant issues, school-related concerns, and community conflicts. It is especially effective when parties want to find a fair and constructive solution while maintaining a positive relationship.

  • No conflict is the same, therefore the time it takes to reach a resolution through mediation can vary depending on the conflict and willingness of parties to work together to resolve. Some matters can be resolved in only one or two-hour-long mediation sessions, others may take many hours of negotiation.

  • Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process that focuses on open communication and collaboration to resolve conflicts. Unlike court, mediation allows all parties to have a say in the outcome rather than having a judge make decisions for them. It is typically faster, less expensive, and helps preserve relationships by fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
